Nain is a small town in a large desert in the middle of Iran, 150 km east of Isfahan. Nain became a rug-producing center only after World War II. Colours like ivory white, light blue and dark blue are mainly used. Wool is soft, the carpets are thin and tight. Nain rugs are in high demand.
