Kerman/Kirman is situated in the south-east of Iran. This is an ancient carpet weaving town, located at the crossrodes of the old trading routes. In the middle of Kirman's carpets there is a single Arabic medallion or tree of life. The pile is from silky soft wool and of high quality. Kirman's carpets are large and suitable for the royal interior. The red and blue tones of Kirman's carpets are lighter than Persian carpets usually have.
