The village of Zagheh is 35km west of Hamedan. Zagheh rug is a typical Kurdish tribal rug, with vivid colors and geometric patterns. The Kurds are descended from the ancient nomadic clans who have lived in Western Iran for thousands of years. Many families continue to have a nomad lifestyle even today.
